Fiona

Tonight we took our drumming teacher out to dinner to thank him for all his extra work to get us prepared for a recent performance at a fundraiser for a local person.

Out to dinner at the Thai Restaurant at Glenella which, coincidentally, one of our fellow drummers, the lovely Cat, has just recently purchased. We're all looking forward to seeing what wonderous things she and her partners do with the property.

But here is Fiona, who was my drumming partner on the night on the large dun drums. Fiona fits a huge amount of things into her life - two jobs, study, motherhood, farming, drumming, partnering, community work, acting, directing to name just the ones that I know about. All of which she does with aplomb.

What a gal!
