A Pretty Pair

Somehow at the moment, busy family life seems to be precluding getting out and taking "arty" images... but that is okay as I find I am just recording the day to day life. Also my laptop doesn't have enough grunt to use Nik and some of the other filters I use!

Brought the children back home this morning, a little late getting to school, but all okay.

Their school has their "Ag Day" at the end of September and as they live on a 1/4 acre section in town there is no room to rear calves or lambs. So like a number of other students, Aidan is rearing two chickens. He got them when they were very young and has been feeding and caring for them for some weeks, they are in a great hen house that is on the back lawn. The neighbour kept an eye on them over the weekend but Aidan spent some time with them this afternoon when he got home from school.

And the continuing saga of Aidan and the iPad as I mentioned last night, spoke to his Dad tonight, seems like there is no alternative but for me to try and reboot it using my laptop, and get it all up and running again. Hmmmm think that will be a job for tomorrow when the children have gone to school and I can think it through...without interruptions!
