Another glorious day - why am I so blessed??

Walked into Ambleside to morning service at St Mary's - love going to another type of church while away from mine. Lively service and an excellent and relevant sermon, and lots of friendly chat over coffee afterwards. Here are my husband and s-i-l walking through the graveyard where a few of her relatives are buried.

Lunch on the deck overlooking Windermere afterwards, and then sailing the Charlotte Emma - a cutlass that's been in my husband's family since he was a teenager. As we were mooring, were treated to a girl screaming down her mobile that she'd just got engaged, her fiancé beside her looking slightly bemused. Am very glad I got engaged before mobile phones...

Also, saw twice, two Lancaster bombers flying over - a historic flight.

Now, sipping white wine while our nephew makes us a roast beef dinner - now I've blipped, will go down to the jetty to watch the sun go down...
