I'm a Linux Cowboy...

...though I am not sure why they chose a picture of a cowboy for a book about Linux command line. I have had this for a while without getting round to doing much with it, but the interview on Monday was a success and if I am moving to a wholly Linux/Unix based development environment then I guess I better start getting up to speed. A verbal offer was received via phone with promise of a written confirmation being with me inside a week. Very good news and apparently despite my late entry I managed to fight off stiff and numerous competition.

A bit of a celebration then, including some frizzante prosecco, not full on fizz but we'll save that for the written offer,
