Ciao bella Italia....

My last morning on Lake Iseo, and a last wander along the lake front at Sarnico to take in the wonderful scenery....

After a spot of shopping and a final delicious lunch of pasta and gelato, it was sadly time to head home on a mammoth public transport trail:

1) Bus from Sarnico to Bergamo
2) Train from Bergamo to Milan
3) Coach from Milan Central Station to Milan Linate Airport
4) Plane from Milan to Brussels
5) Airport car across the runway from Milan plane to Bristol plane (flight delayed due to humongous thunderstorm in Milan so was whisked straight from one plane to the next, all very exciting!!)
6) Plane from Brussels to Bristol
7) Airport bus from Bristol Airport to home!

Ciao bella Italia , arrivederci a presto!!


Looking back through my Italian Lakes photos, trying to decide which to choose for backblips, has brought back many happy memories and reminded me what a wonderful time I had. I'd go back and do it all again tomorrow!!
