Laundy Italian-Style!

Another warm, sunny day on Lake Iseo, and this time a boat trip to Iseo, the main town on the lake, dating back to Roman times.

Whilst wandering around the ancient alleyways, away from the lake side, I came upon this quiet square with its communal open air laundry. On a hot, sunny Summer's day wouldn't you rather be washing your smalls al fresco rather than being stuck indoors?!
