This entry laid against a rock wall with its perfect lean and sense of space quite captivated me. Early long beach walk and then hike io the other lighthouse. This coast so treacherous and views so blocked by headlands they need two only ten miles apart.

Watched huge ships enter the Columbia river to head inland. What on earth did Lewis and Clark begin 200 years ago!
