Nasturtium

Had coffee (hot chocolate for me) with two of my old work colleagues this morning. We sat at the same table for two and a quarter hours, but were very good and followed up with another coffee (Earl Grey in my case) and a toasted teacake each. Fortunately I'd parked out of town on a side-street so didn't have to worry about running out of time on a metre, and it meant I got some exercise at the same time.

For the past few days we've had a very poorly chaffinch visiting the garden. It has had great difficulty swallowing, and yesterday it let me gently lift it off the seed feeder and move it to the bird bath so that I could refill the feeder. Today it is quite a bit perkier so hope that whatever the problem has been, it is finally shaking it off.

Sorry about blipping yet another flower, but the sky is so grey it doesn't help my inspiration.
