Meet Storm

I came across Storm sitting in an Oak tree alongside the playing field. He is a hybrid between a Gerfalcon and a Lanner, so rather a one-off. He was supposed to be practicing his flying skills before his winter activity of catching wood pigeon and something else I can't for the life of me remember. Apparently he prefers grouse but is being discouraged from taking them. Goodness knows how.

Anyway he did eventually come down and perform a few practice fly-pasts and was eventually allowed his catch. He definitely wasn't happy that I was around, but his owner said it was ok for me to stay and he eventually brought him over to be introduced. Storm

The staircase spindles are still being worked on and the dust is getting thicker.
