Dragsholm Castle

We actually spent the night in this castle. It was built in 1675. Incredible. The rooms of the castle are furnished and are just lovely. One special feature of this castle is that there were renovations many many years ago and the skeleton of a young girl was found within the wall. It is believed that her father, the master of the castle, was angry with her and closed her up in the wall. Her skeleton and the bit of clothes that she was found with are displayed, still in the wall. The tradition is that every time you pass you must greet her to avoid being haunted by her.
