Fredriksborg Castle

This is a gypsum alabaster frieze on the wall of the dining room in Fredriksborg Castle, located in Hillerod, Denmark. The deer antlers are real. The friezes cover the entire border of the ceiling - amazing. This whole castle was just gorgeous - had a hard time choosing a photo. Try viewing it large.

Another sunny day, and pleasant temperatures. Tomorrow will be another castle, then dinner with my brother-in-law's nephew and wife. We've met them before when they visited the U.S. and I know it will be a lovely evening.
