Fiscardo

Today we started off by walking up a hill which used to have he famous Assos fort on it. (It was then converted to a prison but then destroyed in the 1959 earthquake so It was only the ruins). It which was about 2k to the top and when we got up there we found there was actually pretty much nothing even though they said there were lots of ruins and a visitor centre which there wasn't.

We then came down and went to a glorious beach called Dafnoudi beach which I dived off some rocks and snorkelled.

We then we went to Fiscardo and walked round the harbour for a bit (the picture is of the harbour).

We then went to supposedly the best taverna on the island 'To Pefko' and it most certainly lived up to its reviews, I had zucchini balls for starters, pork souvlaki for mains and honey and Greek yoghurt for pudding (not mayonnaise :)
