Torcello

We are in Venice now for a couple of days.

We took the Vaporetto to visit Murano, Burano and Torcello.

Torcello is tiny, very pretty and has the oldest cathedral in Venice. As we were walking along the canal, I commented that it would be the most gorgeous place for a wedding. Lo and behold on the way back we passed by some beautifully dressed guests arriving and as we rounded the bend, there was the bride & groom.

The monkey boy is for our granddaughter. Please, Eve, think of a better name soon!
