I always enjoy canvassing the community in which I live - Glendaruel in Cowal.

Cathleen and I had a great evening talking to people we don't see nearly enough ( because of the demands of politics) and came home buoyed up by excellent YES support. Even the few NOs we met were more than willing to have a chat.

Before we finished we nipped down to the Colintraive Hotel where the other canvas team out tonight in the area was having a drink. They had also distributed the leaflets advertising next Wednesday's public meeting in the Colintraive Hall.

By the way, the picture is taken on the West Glen Road, and shows the farmhouse at Maymore where we lived for three months when we first came here almost exactly 22 years ago, during a very different political time.
