Day's end

Returning home from an evening bike ride along the valley, I was catching the last of the sun's rays. The farmers are working long days at this time of year, "making hay while the sun shines" and there's not been too much sun in this valley this summer! In the distance is our village.
Chatting over morning coffee, I found out that this week is one of the dedicated hunting weeks in the valley. They have several more heading towards autumn. It's still popular with the locals and I saw one of them out with his gun this evening. I thought it might be worth a shot (excuse the pun) and then thought better of it. Don't upset a man with a gun!
