I've had a most enjoyable jaunt through to Edinburgh today to meet cousin Alison for lunch in Urban Angel in Hanover Street.

We both chose the griddled sourbread topped with creamy wild mushrooms and fresh herbs. Alison decided to have an 'add-on' of black pudding, so I opted for one of avocado. Absolutely scrumptious!
