My main task today was to keep old Tess company for the day, while her humans went shopping. They had become aware of her distress each time they left her alone in the house.

However, she wasn't very happy at being left with me either! She didn't want to go out for a walk; she didn't want to play in the garden; she just lay and sulked until she heard the car pulling up in the drive. Oh well, some you win...
