Follow my Leader

Warm but overcast day.

I was at Bible Study and Eleanor was at Craft Club at church this afternoon. On the way home we stopped at Stobsmuir Park to have a look around. I was in the middle of taking a photograph of the little island with its trees and reflections when this line of Swans and Cygnets swept regally into sight. It was such an unexpected sight but I thought it made a great Blip. Actually, the Park is known locally as Swannie Pond.

In other news, I had a phone call from the Hospital telling me that they have had to cancel my surgery for tomorrow and could I re-schedule for 3 weeks later. The beds in the ward were all full apparently - it will be good if there was one free on the 25th!

Still, it means I can go to Edinburgh on Saturday without any worries to celebrate my daughter's Silver Wedding. Where does the time fly? Seems only yesterday when she walked down the aisle. Ok - maybe a bit longer than yesterday, but it does seem that our children get older before we know it. It must be a sign of my own old age - or something like that!
