Back to School

My grandson's first day of First Grade. No more kindergarten and half days. He is now officially a grade school student and this morning it was a parade of families walking their children back to school. Lots of photos being taken and for the most part, the kids all looked happy to be there.

After his first full day of school I asked him if he liked it. He said he loved it. His favorite thing was lunch because everyone got to eat together in one big room and he had never done that before. He did have trouble opening his drink but one of the lunch aides helped him. He told us all about the peanut free table. It's such a big change going from kindergarten to First Grade. I'm so proud of him that he did so well.
