Dead Heading and Dead Head!!!

I think I'm gradually getting over the jet lag. It doesn't usually effect me but it really has this time.

I'm really please and proud of you to get such positive feed back from your pre season meeting. Well done.....be proud of yourself too.

It's been quite a nice day weather wise today so I finished all the washing which has given me a huge pile of ironing and I dead headed the flowers in the containers. It took a lot longer than I thought. I've also collected some seeds and I'm going to have a go sowing them....see if I have green fingers or not.

I had a bit of a grrrr moment today. While we were away a letter which needed to be signed for was sent back to the sorting office as no one was there to sign for it. I went to collect it today. It took ages to get into town as there was so much traffic about and stupid drivers doing stupid things which didn't help. Anyway I got there, lined up, gave them the card with my driving licence but the woman behind the counter refused to give it to me. It had dad's name on the front of the letter and not mine so they wanted him to collect it or I had to take his driving licence with me. I thought that as I was Mrs and living at the address with the same name they could of used their discretion....but no! What a dead head! So I arranged to have it delivered tomorrow. The stupid woman said I must make sure someone would be in...I said I wouldn't arrange for it tomorrow if I was out....I actually said a lot more at the time! What a waste of 90 mins of my time. This letter had better be worth the aggravation.

Dads cooking tonight...at least we will all be eating.
