The one that got away

All the first flowering of my roses were nipped in the bud by the deer. However they have enough food up on the moor now not to bother with my garden, so though the second flowering are not as strong as the first would have been, nevertheless they are a treat.

I've had to stay in today, a lovely sunny one, as the BT man has come to set us up with Infinity. However he was not able to proceed until he could fix the line on our street which apparently, unknown to us, has three major faults. He is going to come another day.
