Options

There are always choices.

I could have stayed at home. Or in the car. I could have chosen to wear rain gear and boots instead of a t-shirt and little black loafers. I could have chosen to hide with the other people when the torrential downpour started. I could have chosen to not go down the beach so far.

There are always choices and we live with them.

I got absolutely soaking wet, had to sit in those wet clothes all the way home and only mentioned getting really cold when we were almost home.


Some people on the beach decided to stay in the water and I'm pretty sure they ended up dryer than me - but I played with the gulls and I loved it :)
