Chook

She loves it like her unborn badger*

Dinner at Pascoe tonight as B is back after nearly a year overseas.

J's mum asked what the night would bring.
He didn't know, he said, except that it would involve milk.

And it did. Milk, reacquainting herself with favourite shorts, some more measurements of cranial dimensions, mirth, Lebanese and a bit of Stavros Flatley. Lovely to see her - in good form too, despite the jet lag.

It's been bucketing down most of the day, rain and wind enough to blow umbrellas inside out, as this poor man discovered. Gridlocked traffic through the city and over an hour's drive from work to Pascoe. C is camping at Sorrento. Hopefully the inside of their tent will remain dry tonight...

Thank you all for your lovely comments on yesterday's blip.
