Voyage of a Beagle & Lab

Coco and Friends

Gorgeous, sunny day, which after the weather we've had recently was a very pleasant surprise, outer layers were once more discarded.
It's been a busy old day with everyone going in opposite directions and trying to do a dozen things at once but we had a great dog walk this morning and Coco meet lots of her friends, there was a new addition to the park, a gorgeous little English Bulldog called Bobby. Unfortunately Coco is only too familiar with his big brother, George, who, in her eyes, is just a pest, she puts up with him for so long then politely tells him to get lost but he's not one to take a telling and she has been known to resort to a snap at his nose. Coco could obviously see what Bobby would grow into so had nothing to do with him and when he did get a bit too nosy he was quietly put in his place. Everyone else thought he was as cute as a button (why a button????) and it's a miracle he wasn't scooped up and made off with.
Kyra completed her hike and camping trip for her Duke of Edinburgh over Friday and Saturday, when the weather was pants, but the girls survived and had a great time but came home with a soggy tent that's been hanging in our garage to dry. This evening we took it out into the garden to roll it up - on came a 5 minute shower of rain, the only one of the day, Sod's law , never mind the tent is now back in its bag and mum has dealt with all the other wet soggy washing that came home.
