Coco ... again!

Very few opportunities to Blip today so it was just as well that I took a few shots of Coco in the sun this morning. By eleven the sun had disappeared and there was a wind that felt as though it came straight from Siberia blowing through the front door of the library and up the stairs.
While the highlight of my day was discovering a piece of the sticky toffee pudding I had made for guests at the weekend, Ky had a far more exciting time. She had a school trip to the Edinburgh Book Festival to see Malala Yousafzai, this was a trip that she had been looking forward to for some time and she came away having had a brilliant morning and in complete awe of a exceptional, brave and inspiring young lady but for Ky, who really did grow up with Harry Potter, Malala was a little over shadowed by being introduced by J.K. Rowling. JK sat at the back of the tent and when the event was over and everyone else was discussing a woman's right to an education Ky and Abbie found her and declared their love for Harry Potter. She was really lovely to them and chatted away, making a day which had always going to be very special, truly magical.
