Sunshine and shadows

It has been a mad social whirl over the past few days. Today the vicar had a house warming for around 25 people in the house that he has built virtually by himself in less than a year, quite an achievement for someone beyond retirement age. Usually everyone brings a dish but this time Lesley made everything and it was a fine spread. His is not a small village house like this one. The village properties are less popular as they rarely have terraces or gardens. These days people ideally want a terrace, garden and a view and the new house has all three.
