Loki

This is my mom's dog, Loki, who we saw tonight along with Beda & Imp! Isn't he gorgeous? When I see him I'm often reminded of the last photo I took of my dad. Loki was a puppy then and sitting on his lap at the time. I blipped that photo,  3 years ago. Dad was fighting  cancer and died 2 months later. Even though sometimes I feel a little sad when I see it, I am glad I have this snapshot in time, this memory of my wonderful dad.

For his memorial, I created a slideshow video of many photos of my dad, all different ages, with his friends and family. I truly think this has helped me and others to remember and celebrate his life. Amazing what a photo can do. xo
