a beautiful bird . . . of paradise. In my back yard!

Yes, I do live in paradise. Lots of sunshine, lovely little lizards, tons of flowers, tropical birds (and drinks!) the river, our boats, the gorgeous beaches . . . my mom nearby (we'll see her tomorrow), museums and art galleries, gardens, places to dance freely. I'm so grateful . . . storing up all that goodness to tide me over when things get rough, as they are sometimes. Believe it or not I've been through some very bad patches over the years. Perhaps that is why I am always gathering up the good stuff! Like ammunition!
