Soggy Saturday

We finally had a reasonable downpour. The garden is grateful. And when the rain came I was outside adding topsoil to some of our beds. It got soggy real soon. But then the sun came out and I was able to get this damp spider web as my contribution to Saturday's Shapes and Shadows challenge.

Most of my day has been in the garden but Mrs G has been busy in the kitchen. Following on from the success of her plum (greengage) jam, she's got her baking pinny on and has promised apple pie for tonight's family meal. That's my favourite and this will be the first from our own apples.
