Snow Swan

We managed a quick walk around the lake this morning before my other half was due to set off for his Hadrian's Wall Walk.

The swan family were either preening or snoozing by the lake near to the entrance to the gardens. I don't need much encouragement to take photos of these magnificent birds.

After dropping P off at Crewe Railway Station, I spent the afternoon in Chester. I'm now at home, planning the rest of my week, as I'm having a few days off work too.
