King Robert The Bruce At Bannockburn

Well a wee trip up to Stirling today with Sandra and myself as we were at Springkerse retail park near Bannockburn and Sandra had never visited the site of the great battle so I decided to drive over and show her the statue of King Robert The Bruce that has had a recent makeover for this years 700th anniversary of the Battle Of Bannockburn and hopefully I can do Robert proud on the 18th of September, as the old saying goes the Pen is mightier than the Sword anyway I was taking some shots on the opposite side which was rather dark but gave a nice silhouette with the bright sky, and when the sun came out I went round the other side to get the glint from the recent makover along with the Saltrie looking good in the shot as well,and it looks like they did a good job on the makeover apart from being spoilt by the recent bird shit on the Kings Helmet thankfully no bird shat on us which was fine anyway that was it for today and back to work tomorrow anyway movie for the day is " The Bruce 1996" Looks good BIG as well See Ya
