Foody Friday

This scene taken in the old city of Gmünd to which our town belongs. The foody association is two-fold. The Goldener Stern (Golden Star) is the only 4 star hotel and restaurant in the area. The food is very good but Hubby complains the proportions are too small. The spire on the right belongs to the well known old Rathaus (town hall) which is now a museum. In front of the spire is an outdoor ice cream cafe which has the best homemade ice cream and the sundaes are not only delicious but works of art. If I had had more time I would have stopped for one but had to hurry home to help Hubby get ready for a big day tomorrow. A few of his friends/colleagues are coming over at 7am tomorrow to prepare the facade before the final render in a few weeks time. Forecast is for showers but fingers crossed....
