My workhorse lens broke today. The focussing is jammed. Solid. Immovable. Its stuck at 0.9m. Not much use as a lens. :-(
A trip to be repaired - just waiting for the initial on-line diagnosis.

Am glad I bought my holiday lens a few weeks ago. Not a match but I have a lens still.
