Small Cars...
...only.
Only in a British Rail car-park. And why aren't the other bays marked 'large cars only'...?
Taken on my way home from the last Blip, having caught the last train, getting into Salisbury well after midnight.
You get three of me (OK, shadows) and I used the same lens as for my Stars and Dead Oak blip - HUGE thanks to ALL, managing to get it to the very top of the Spotlights, albeit for a few hours. It's still hanging on in there at no 2.
No inclination, or absolute need, to set up the tripod here. So, quickly handheld. Not initially intended as a Blip but I thought it a nice antidote to the urban melancholy of the disused bus station blip and of the hugely cosmic, tripod-bound star and tree study of yesterday.
It's left in colour, as was. I wasn't tempted to go black and white. I liked how the street-light yellow crowns the image and brings the eye down. And it offsets the mono of the foreground nicely.
Am completely wiped out today. Got another great pair of Blips last night, spanning midnight, while out on my Anniversary 'celebration' with my lovely Nikon. They'll go up very soon, as I endeavour to bring my Journal up to date.
I've caught up with many of you. I might have to have a quick kip, now - it's needed! And I haven't seen anything on Netflix for at least two months, despite them habitually removing my sub every month. I might have to actually see something! So, will get back to Blip a bit later.
Love you ALL lots!!
