Evening by the Bunker, Kaitorete Spit
For tonight's blip I've returned to close of the scene of last nights blip; instead of being down by the dunes, this shot is closer to Birdling's Flat. This old bunker was used to store explosives during the war so I'm told.
Talking of last night's blip, thanks to all who commented and rated it on it's way to the top row of the Spotlight, again. It would seem my aurora pics are popular!
Talking of which, it was a joy to see Wednesday's shot in the newspaper here in Christchurch, as well as on the homepage of press.co.nz. A local TV new programme were also going to use it this evening too. I also saw that Blip had shared it on their Facebook page too.
Now that's coverage :-)
