Breakfast with a Mountain Panorama
Another glorious Canterbury morning greeted us on the way to work today. We left the valley with Mount Herbert's summit dusted with early Spring snow, remnants of a cold southerly that swept up the South Island last night. As you can see the alps got a bit of a dump too - the snowline creeping down to almost winter levels.
These big girls with their wooly jumpers didn't seem to mind though as they munched through their breakfast. There was also plenty of youngsters on display in the many paddocks we pass on our journey. I think it might be time for some shots of cute Spring lambs...
This shot was another grabbed on the move. I think I have this drive-by pano thing down pat now! Might be work a look large to check out those mountains I reckon....
