What do you mean it's not Friday?

Friday is jeans day at work this week. I keep calling my co worker at 4am at work every morning and asking her: is it jeans day today?
When a call comes in from a co worker at 4am it usually means they are calling in sick. I just want to keep her on her toes.

Yesterday I made two cakes and fell asleep. We had pot luck day at work today. I made blueberry cake with blueberries from my garden. This recipe is a hoot. You end up with 3 different bowls and a cup of milk mixing them together a bit at a time, Adding the whipped egg whites at the end. The whites for the second batch wouldn't whip. I went through 6 eggs trying to get them to whip. It was too hot. My husband told me I dirtied every dish in the house. That is so not true. You see I have bowls. Lots of bowls. When I moved I gave away and sold lots of bowls. I collected certain types of pottery. I hyperventilated when I got rid of the watt pottery. The Roseville, transfer ware , ironstone and art pottery were easier to let go. I did manage to keep my Longaberger ( it's SO a cult people) bowls and some Pyrex ones I bought mom years ago. I have many others hidden. Shhhhh don't tell my husband. Now they are all utilitarian and not for display. That is much better.
My band has had 2 weeks off. We have a gig Saturday. SO can not wait. When I sing I can forget all the stress in my life. Well unless I forget the words!
We heard this the other day and think we should learn this one.

I tried to explain minor and major keys to someone once and his eyes glazed over and a coma ensued. I have learned my lesson, doesn't matter. It just sounds cool. Think of the regular version on this song...... This is way more fun. This is a great band too by the way.
