Trip of a lifetime ...

That's what we told the children ... When really all we did was book a day trip to Calais and let them run amok on Calais beach instead of Folkestone ... They seemed satisfied with a picnic lunch and the threat of being punched in the solar plexus if they whined ;-)

Today we had drama !! Yes my reverse lights stopped working .. A French man told me off for joining a queue for the coaches and a life guard on Calais beach warned the children of a seal who was swimming right between them and THEN he argued with a man with a dog ... I tell you we all live life right on the edge you know ... Terrifying.
