Some gloss work done!

One of the new doors fitted next door and at last the gloss work to the area has been done. These doors are from a large joinery chain and are solid oak - they are actually of reasonably good quality and not really too expensive. I think that they certainly add a lot of character to the little place and so hopefully money well spent.

Yes - the screw heads will be painted out with black paint. Those supplied were too long but I may try and get some shorter ones rather than find black paint in the garage.

Tomorrow I have to resurrect my ancient wet tile cutter and I hope that it still works as I have 4 tiles that need an angle taking off to fit the top of the new wash basin!

The carpet is cut back as it is being replaced but as the underlay is being reused I am leaving it down to protect the underlay!
