A patchwork porch

The tiles on this step are a bit dirty today and there are footprints and leaves on it.
When I was a young girl we had step like this but with tiles and each week on a Saturday morning it was my job to wash it. It's still there but I wonder if the owners or tenants of the house have carried on that routine.
