I'm a lumberjack....

When I set out this morning the visibility was rubbish, however the thick fog/river mist, the hangover from yesterday's 24hour rain, did make for interesting & surprising photography conditions.

You nearly got more spooky cobwebs (with fat spider in situ) or geese landing en masse on the river, or a little motor launch chasing after a rowing boat (manned by nine, over enthusiastic 12 year olds). Then 10 minutes from home I came across these guys, starting (I hope) the mammoth clear up of the woods...job done.
