Week 1

This is the current view from the end of our drive. It will soon be changing because the people who paid rather a lot of money for this house and land are opting to demolish and build anew rather than renovate. This means we have months and months ahead of us with lorries and wagons causing chaos before we're treated to yet another ugly, modern, blocky flat roofed thing, I can hardly wait.

There are, however, two upsides to this:
1. one blip per week is a cert
2. I get to shout at Germans in German, as I did today when the oafs thought they could 'park' their truck across my drive, ensuring I wouldn't be able to get my car out of the garage where it was hiding from the rain.
