back-blip

Beach day today with Auntie Jan, Nicola and Seren. It was drizzling all the way there and for a while whilst we got onto the beach but it was quite warm and the sea was n't that cold either so it didn't spoil our fun! Isaac once again wasn't keen on the sand but loved running into the waves. Amelie ran straight into the sea in her dress, surprise surprise. Good job I had several changes with me!! Seren really enjoyed digging! When they were soaked and cold we brought them up the beach to our picnic blanket and wrapped them in towels and let them eat their picnic. Chris and Jan went to get some chips and things for us to share and the kids were soon digging and playing beside us. We had planned on going up to the park but we ended up staying at the beach for quite a while as the children were enjoying themselves so much. Eventually we walked up to the park for a quick play before we headed back to the cars. We drove straight to Angela and Kevin's for dinner where Nicola and Seren were going to join us but Seren fell asleep in the car and couldn't be woken! Such a shame! We had a lovely dinner and the kids enjoyed playing with Alfie, poor dog was drawn on with a pink pencil by Isaac and bossed about by Amelie. Chris had dropped the car off at home so when they were getting tired we walked home.
