Another fantastic day today. In the morning Amelie, Mum, Gran and I paid a visit to the Secret Herb Garden, a wonderful place of herbs, vintage furniture, bees and delicious cake. It was such a lovely magical place. Its a shame that we are not up for longer as they do fairy walks sometimes for children too, which Amelie would have loved. After a look around we had a cuppa and a cake (honey, peach and ginger for me, lime, mint and courgette for Mum and a lavender scone for Gran)and a walk up to see the bees. I chose some herbs for my garden and I asked some advice about planting a thyme lawn in between the cracks in the paving in the courtyard. Apparently chamomile lawn is nice too and he gave Amelie a little chamomile plant to try out our lawn with!
We went home for lunch and then Chris, Mum, Amelie, Isaac and I went up Flotterstone for a walk up to the reservoir.
