Shadows..

..on the hill.

Strong sunlight gives the village a golden hue, but these shadowu really show the undulations of the Wild shore.

Busy today, cut off all the tops and weeds from the potatoes. Gives the soil in the ridges a chance to dry out, to help prevent blight spores coming in contact with the potatoes. Makes them store better. Just got 6 rows to lift in a weeks time now..

Also did a lot of weeding on the cabbage patch, but still plenty to do. Need to get down to the lodge sometime to tidy the beds up down there..

Just printed off 160 copies of a questionaire about broadband in the village. Will pass them onto G at the SCDC meeting tonight. It could be a long one..
