The 'view'

Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments, book suggestions and emails. I am so grateful for all your efforts at keeping me occupied.

On the book front, it turns out I am not able to read anything requiring any too much thought. I have read another Adele Parks book, the state we're in and now have just started Summers Child by Diane Chamberlin. Am pretending I am actually lying on a beach all day with my chick lit.

This morning saw a successful end to a three day campaign to get my hair washed. First time since Friday, it felt so utterly gross. A lovely nurse washed it today and I feel loads better because of it. Otherwise, pretty routine day. A gang of doctors came to stare at me and tell me they can't speak English. I suddenly realised they might be able to answer questions, which, hurrah, they did!! They are happy with my bones and they will apparently 100% repair. I have to stay in bed until all my wounds are healed, then I may learn the wonder of crutches. So actually all good.

I will know by tomorrow morning when I am going home now we are all agreed I am not going to be sitting on a plane. And I made the man giving me today's disgusting lunch give me a banana too. Am working the system and am going to be sooooo skinny :)
