my natural habitat...

I want my blip to be a bit of a diary, as well as just a place to put photos, so today I thought I'd introduce my working environment! This is where the mathematical magic happens, or is supposed to anyway :)

When I first arrived at the department there were four girls in this office; as you can imagine it was great fun and we created a fair bit of noise at times, much to the annoyance of the grumpy man in the office next door. Now there's just me and my officemate Steve, so it's a bit quieter these days. Still fun though!

This week Steve is off at a conference in Germany (I think) so I'm on my own. Compared to my first year here it feels very lonely.
