Sarah Mack Visits

A fine sunny morning with a couple of showers in the afternoon mixed with sunny spells and a fine calm evening.

Day off work today and it started with chores.  Left the washing machine washing and off out walkies with Sammy dog around Cunningsburgh.  When I returned home, the BBC crew were filming next to my house for the Landward programme.  My plans had been for a run to the isle of Mousa but will save that for another day.  The afternoon was spent walkies around Scalloway and then popped along friends Donna and Euan for a cuppa and Sammy got to chase their dog Lucy around the garden for a while :)

Sarah Mack is up in Shetland just now with the BBC crew doing filming for the Landward programme.  They have been filming my neighbours on the croft next door to me.  A friendly bunch and she was happy for me to snap this photo of her helping Peter Dodge on the hay stack and son James while they were biggin (building) the stack :)  Hope they've filmed my new sink flowerpot I Blipped yesterday :)  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
