Alpaca

A misty day with sunny patches.
A full Scottish breakfast to start my Sunday :) When I got up,there didn't seem to be much mist around but at the back of 11, the mist came down over Scalloway. With the mist around, only one place to go and that's up north to North Roe, clear of mist and sunny too :) Back to Scalloway and the mist is still here!
This is one of the Alpacas that are bred up at North Roe. Lovely animals, or so I thought. I met the owners and they were telling me how Alpacas would kill a small dog like my Sammy boy by stomping on them until dead, not so keen on them now. Although they seemed to get on well with some lambs that were in the park too, you can spot a white ball of wool on the left and that's one of the caddy lambs.
Taken at North Roe.
