A Man, a Boy, and a Dog

I quickly revised my to-do list this morning when Cynthia asked me to change the location of her desk in our shared office. I started moving things around while she was out walking around Lake Padden after breakfast, and was almost finished when she got back home -- or so I thought -- I hadn't fully understood the plan.

Moving the furniture was easy, but some re-wiring of electronic devices was also involved. I need to get a longer cable for the printer to complete the project, but we're both happy with the changes so far.

After lunch I took the barbecue propane tank to get it refilled, and stopped at Lake Padden on the way home. There were lots of people in and on the water, enjoying yet another glorious summer day.

I'm not fond of gardening, but the lawn was long overdue for mowing and edging, so I thought I would make it my last chore of the day. After completing that, I found myself doing a major clean-up around the neglected side of the house. There'll be a full load going to the ReStore in the Forester this week!

Lamb burgers on the BBQ with fresh local veggies to end the day -- with some good beer, of course!
